The International Center for Development Studies (ICDS) is a non-governmental organization based in San Jose, Costa Rica and is devoted to knowledge creation and dissemination through applied research and international academic programs. ICDS fosters and implements activities in both these fields aimed at developing citizens who are proactive and engaged in the search for common good, in accordance with the Center's mission and organizational goals.

ICDS students

In the interest of international education and taking advantage of the expertise and now-how of its facualty and administrative team, the International Center for Development Studies (ICDS) offers the followoing academic opportunities:

Fall semester programs: "Human Rights, Society and Development in Latin America," and "Environment, Sustainability and Development in Latin America"

Spring semester programs: "Spanish, Social Justice, and Sustainability in Latin America"

Spring quarter program: "Language, Culture, and Development in Latin America"

Summer programs: "Spanish for Development Studies," and "Spanish for Health Sciences"
