You don’t have to leave North America to experience a foreign culture. Just south of the border is Mexico—land of mysterious Mayan ruins, colorful crafts, and the world’s liveliest Day of the Dead fiesta. You can witness the rainbow of species that swim in the Sea of Cortes or wind through the streets of World Heritage Sites like colonial Puebla. Known as the City of Palaces, Mexico City will be your home base. Here you can spend quality face time with the Aztec Sun Stone, the country’s official symbol. See why home is where the art is at Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo’s Azul House. Or live like a trendy local amid the galleries and eateries of the La Roma and La Condesa districts. And the Yucatan Peninsula’s Caribbean beaches are a perfect treat after final exams.

Tecnologico de Monterrey has 33 campuses in 27 cities throughout Mexico. It offers programs at all different academic levels in 34 different subject areas through the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business fields. Its teaching model is focused on practical application of theoretical ideals and puts a strong emphasis on collaborative work and problem-solving. Learning goes beyond the classroom at Tec Monterrey, and the university uses its student activities to supplement the academics.
